This is a petition for a writ of certiorari to review judgment of the Court of Appeals.

The petitioner is a domestic insurance corporation licensed to engage in the insurance business in the Philippines. The respondent is the owner of a building located in the municipality of Lucena, province of Tayabas, insured for P20,000 and P10,000 in two policies issued by the petitioner.
