ZALDIVAR, J: 

This case originated in the Court of First Instance of Manila as Civil Case No. 5161, entitled "De la Rama Steamship Co. Inc., plaintiff, versus National Development Company, defendant." This is the third time that this case has come up to this Court. 

This case is the outcome of an agreement entered into on October 26, 1949 between the De la Rama Steamship Co. Inc. (hereinafter referred to as De la Rama) and the National Development Company (hereinafter referred to as NDC), whereby De la Rama undertook the management of the three vessels known as "Doña Aurora," "Doña Nati" and "Doña Alicia"...
