Appeal from the judgment of the Court of First Instance of Leyte (Carigara) in Criminal Case No. 1954 finding appellants Ildefonso Genoguin, Sergio Agang and Gorgonio Agang guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of robbery with homicide and physical injuries, and sentencing each of them to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua, for the killing of Filomena Tizon, and "twelve (12) years and one (1) day of reclusion temporal," for the serious physical injuries inflicted on Prudencio Tizon, both committed on the occasion of the robbery, with the accessories provided by law; to indemnify the heirs of the...
