Laureto Urot, in his lifetime endowed with physical strength and prone to make use of it at the least provocation, having been known to have inflicted violence on his father in a moment of anger, was stabbed to death. That resulted in the prosecution and subsequent conviction of three members of the Manlangit family, Demetrio, the father, and his two sons, Demosthenes and Domingo.
