There is not much in this prosecution for rape of the accused Alfredo Rapada that differs from numerous cases, with diametrically conflicting versions as to the circumstances under which the act of sexual intercourse took place. Twice it did happen between him and complainant. The defense interposed was that there was consent on her part. Her testimony was to the effect that she had to submit to his desires because of the employment of force and intimidation.
