This case is about the lease of a parcel of foreshore land of the public domain with an area of about four and one-half hec­tares located at Barrio Kaiñgin, Kawit, Cavite abutting on Bacoor Bay and the Ankaw Creek.
 
It is a protracted controversy that has been pending for more than thirty years between the rival claimants, Julian San­tulan and Antonio Lusin, who have been succeeded by their heirs.
