Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of conviction rendered in this case by the Honorable Vicente Jocson, judge.

On September 2, 1903, Nicasio Capule, for the purpose of appropriating to himself a tract of coconut land, situated in the town of San Pablo, Laguna, without the knowledge or consent of the owners thereof, the married couple Aniceto Maghirang and Isabel Pili, by agreement and cooperation with the notary public, Inocente Martinez, who later died, prepared and drew up a document setting forth the sale in his favor of the said land, pretending that it was made and executed by the said owners of...
