CARSON, J.:

The appellant, Patricio Campo, was convicted in the court below of the crime of homicide as defined and penalized in article 404 of the Penal Code, and sentenced to twenty years of reclusion temporal and to the payment of the costs of the proceedings. The penalty prescribed by law was imposed in its maximum degree because the trial judge was of opinion that the commission of the crime was marked with the aggravating circumstances of alevosia (treachery).

Accepting, as we do, the findings of the court below as to the credibility of the witnesses, we are of opinion that the evidence of record leaves no room...
