The appeal before us has reference to the decision of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) dated March 27, 1991 which modified the decision of the Labor Arbiter involving petitioner's charge of illegal dismissal. The reviewing authority merely awarded separation pay equivalent to one-half month pay for every year of service and denied petitioner's prayer for reinstatement, backwages, moral and exemplary damages, including attorney's fees (p. 89, Rollo).
