Bitter rivalry in the movie theater industry led tot he slaying of one of the more prominent citizens of Cagayan de Oro almost twenty (20) year ago. Those charged for the sensational manslaughter were either convinced or acquitted by a military court. But the verdict did not put to rest the wounded feelings spawned by the killing; it merely terminated the criminal prosecution of those already haled to court.
