These defendants were charged with a violation of section 7 of Act No. 1757, the law prohibiting gambling. The complaint alleged:

"That the said accused, Wan Yang, Chao Wun Chy, Song Tong and Yong Hong, in or about the month of August, 1915, in the municipality of Bacolor, Pampanga, P.
