The principal issue presented for resolution in these petitions for certiorari[1] under Rule 65 of the Rules of Court is whether or not public respondent National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) committed grave abuse of discretion in affirming with slight modifications Labor Arbiter Felipe Pati’s decision awarding herein private respondents’ claim of P193,338,212.33 consisting of:
 
1.   Wage increase of 25% of gross monthly wage from January 1985 to December 1988; 

2.   Christmas Bonus of one and one-half (1-1/2) months pay from December 1985 to December...
