Appeal from a decision of the Regional Trial Court of Palawan, Branch 52,1 [Presided by Judge Filomeno A. Vergara.] finding accused-appellant Edgar Crispin guilty of the crime of murder, sentencing him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua with the accessory penalties provided by law, and ordering him to pay to the heirs of the victim civil indemnity of P50,000.00, actual damages of P80,000.00, and moral damages of P30,000.00.
