Blackmail, in the restricted form in which the crime is punished by section 10 of the Philippine Libel Law, is the subject which this appeal brings, as a case of first impression, to the Supreme Court for consideration.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE.

Action in this case was begun by an information filed by the Fiscal of the city of Manila against Salvador A. Eguia and Sebastian Lozano, in which it was alleged:
