This is an appeal from the Decision[1] dated August 22, 1994 of the Regional Trial Court of Cavite City, Branch 17, finding accused-appellant, Danilo de Guzman, guilty of violation of Section 16, Article III, Republic Act 6425, otherwise known as the Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972, and sentencing him to suffer the penalty of life imprisonment and to pay a fine of P50,000.00 without subsidiary imprisonment in case of insolvency.
