The sureties on the bail bond of a Chinaman named Que Ping seek by this appeal to have the order of the trial court, holding them liable under their undertaking, reversed, and thus to be discharged from their obligation.

The Chinaman Que Ping was charged in the Court of First Instance of Manila with having committed the crime of homicide, was duly arraigned and tried, and was convicted. The accused appealed from this decision to the Supreme Court.
