- Accused-appellants were convicted by the trial court of violating PD 532, otherwise known as the Anti-Piracy and Anti-Robbery Law.

- They allegedly attacked with firearms the 4 vehicles of VMG moneychanger and took away P14, 700,000.

- There was a shootout on the occasion of the robbery, 3 were killed and several others were injured.

- Accused-appellants were identified, to have been the perpetrators of the crime only by Mamison who admitted during the investigation of his participation in the robbery.
