From the Decision[1] of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 28, Mandaue City finding appellants Jason S. Navarro and Solomon S. Navarro guilty beyond reasonable doubt of rape and sentencing each of them to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua and to indemnify jointly and solidarily the victim, Josefa P. Noel, the amount of P50,000.00, they lodged the present appeal.
