BROUGHT to fore is the administrative disciplinary system of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) for erring members. We trace the transition of the PCG from a component of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to an adjunct of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC). We also set straight questions on administrative disciplinary procedures for uniformed personnel of the PCG.
