For automatic review is the decision[1] dated June 6, 2005 of the Court of Appeals (CA) in CA-G.R. CR-H.C. No. 00922 which affirmed an earlier decision[2] of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of La Trinidad, Benguet, Branch 9 in Criminal Cases Nos. 98-CR-3081, 98-CR-3082 and 98-CR-3083, finding accused-appellant guilty beyond reasonable doubt of three counts of Rape and sentencing him to suffer the extreme penalty of death.
