VILLA-REAL, J.:

This appeal was taken by the plaintiff Pantaleon E. del Rosario from a judgment of the Court of First Instance of Oriental Negros, the dispositive part of which is as follows:

"All the proceedings of the sheriff, Sobrepeña, as well as the subsequent acts and documents arising from the execution, are declared null and void. The defendant is absolved from the complaint, with costs against the plaintiff, and, in a accordance with the cross-complaint, the latter is further ordered to recognize the defendant's rights in the lands in question.

"It is so ordered."
