The Case

Before the Court is a petition for review[1] of the 27 May 2005 Decision[2] and 2 August 2005 Resolution[3] of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. SP No. 87710. The Court of Appeals affirmed the decision of the Office of the President, which in turn affirmed the decision of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs denying petitioner's request to revert to the use of her maiden name in her replacement passport.
