This is an appeal from the decision rendered by the Court of First Instance of Pampanga and Angeles City, the dispositive  portion of which reads as follows:

"WHEREFORE, the Court finds defendant Merle C. Whipkey guilty beyond reasonable doubt of bigamy penalized under Article 349  of the Revised Penal Code and, applying the Indeterminate Sentence Law and there being no attending circumstance, sentences  the said defendant to suffer an indeterminate penalty of four (4) years and two (2) months of prison correctional, as  minimum, to ten (10) years of prison mayor, as maximum, with the accessories of the...
