Before this Court is an appeal from the May 16, 2013 Decision[1] of the Court of Appeals (CA) in CA-G.R. CR HC No. 04547, which affirmed the May 13, 2010 Decision[2] of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Angeles City, Branch 57, finding accused-appellant Bienvenido Miranda y Feliciano (appellant) guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violation of Sections 5[3] and 11,[4] Article II of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9165.[5]
