Carnal knowledge of a woman against her will, effected through force and intimidation is rape. Notably, the absence of contusions and abrasions in the woman's body does not negate rape. Neither will the victim's failure to flee and scream imply consent to the bestial act. Likewise, the victim cannot be expected to act rationally after suffering from a traumatic and harrowing ordeal.
