The Executive power is vested in the President. (Section 1, Article VIII, Constitution.) The President exercises general supervision over all local governments as may be provided by law. (Section 10, [1], Article VII, Constitution.) Among the particular power of the President is the power "to remove all officials from office conformably to law." (Section 64(b), Revised Administrative Code.)
