The validity of fixed-term employment and the legality of dismissal are the main issues in this petition for review on certiorari under Rule 45 of the Rules of Court assailing the Court of Appeal's Decision dated July 1, 2016[1] in CA-G.R. SP No. 142370, which affirmed the findings of the National Labor Relations Commission.
