When the award of the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission Arbitral Tribunal becomes the subject of judicial review, courts must defer to its factual findings by reason of its "technical expertise and irreplaceable experience of presiding over the arbitral process."[1] A stringent exception would be when the integrity of the arbitral tribunal itself has been jeopardized[2] which is not present in this case.
