D E C I S I O N 

BENGZON, J: 

Anastacio Laurel demands his release from Bilibid Prison, mainly asserting that Commonwealth Act No. 682, creating People's Court, specially section 19, under which he is detained as a political prisoner, is unconstitutional and void. The Solicitor General, meeting the issue, sustains the validity of the whole law.
