On May 25, 1948, the plaintiff Philippine National Bank, a banking corporation organized and operating under the laws of the Philippines, with main office in the City of Manila and agencies in different provinces like the province of Cotabato, initiated this suit in the Court of First Instance of Cotabato for the purpose of collecting from the defendants Bernardo Bagamaspad and Bienvenido M.
