On February 24, 1961 the plaintiffs-appellants, Rufino Coloma and Timoteo Coloma, filed a complaint against the defendants-appellees, Atanacio Coloma, Mamerto Coloma and Calixto Coloma, for the partition of thirteen parcels of land located at Piddig, Ilocos Norte, allegedly left undisposed of and unencumbered by one Agapito Geronimo who died intestate on March 19, 1949, leaving as his only heirs the two appellants Rufino Coloma and Timoteo Coloma and the appellee Atanacio Coloma who are brothers.
