On March 31, 1959, Jose G. Syson filed a petition for naturalization in the Court of First Instance of Manila alleging, among others, that his former name was Chi Chian, but by decision of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on October 1, 1958 in Special Proceedings No. 01092 his name was changed to Jose G. Syson; that he was born on August 2, 1917 in Chingkang, China; that he came to the Philippines in 1933, from Amoy, China, on board the "SS Anking"; that he is married to Ang Eng with whom he has three children, namely: Chi Chiong, born in Hongkong on May 16, 1954; Maria A.
