The defendants-appellants George Daeng, Conrado Bautista, Gerardo Abuhin and Rolando Castillo were indicted for the crime of murder (Criminal Case C.C.C. VII 847-Rizal) before the Circuit Criminal Court holding sessions in Pasig, Rizal, The information reads:
