The dispute in this case had its origin when appellant Bormaheco, Inc. acquired, on June 26, 1964, from the then National Shipyard and Steel Corporation, hereinafter to be referred to as Nassco, a parcel of land in Santa Ana, Manila, and found that the defendants 1 were occupying portions thereof. On April 10, 1965, it filed a complaint for ejectment alleging that it informed the defendants of its purchase and notified them to vacate the premises, but they failed to do so.
