Automatic review of the judgment of the Circuit Criminal Court, Pasig, Rizal, imposing the death penalty upon Celestino Villacores, 1 Romulo Lirio, Pedro Ducay and Abis Gamongan.

In an Information filed by the Special Prosecutor on October 10, 1972, the afore-mentioned appellants were charged with Murder and Multiple Frustrated Murder, as follows:

"That on or about May 4, 1972, at the NBP, Muntinlupa, Rizal, Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court the above named accused while then confined at the said institution conspiring, confederating and helping one another did then and there...
