Malpractice was the basis of an administrative complaint filed by Flaviana Tioson Nava against respondent Cesar Palma, a member of the Philippine Bar. More specifically, he was charged with having induced her to sign a document, without informing her of its contents. She found out later that it was purportedly a deed of sale. As a result, a transfer certificate of title was acquired by the alleged vendees over the three lots in question, with her and her husband being thereafter required to leave the premises.
