CRUZ, J.:

The basic issue involved in this case is the filiation of private respondent Carmelita de la Puerta, who claims successional rights to the estate of her alleged grandmother.

Dominga Revuelta died on July 3, 1966, at the age of 92, with a will leaving her properties to her three surviving children, namely, Alfredo, Vicente and Isabel, all surnamed de la Puerta. Isabel was given the free portion in addition to her legitime and was appointed executrix of the will. 1
