DAVIDE, JR., J.:

In this appeal from the Order 1 of the then Court of First Instance (now Regional Trial Court) of Iloilo dated 8 January 1966 in Naturalization Case No. 85 allowing the petitioner-appellee to take his oath as a citizen of the Philippines pursuant to its decision 2 of 15 October 1963, appellant Republic of the Philippines urges this Court to overturn both the decision and the order because the trial court erred:
