The Case

This petition for review via certiorari[1] raises the question of whether or not the equitable doctrine of laches may override a provision of the Land Registration Act on imprescriptibility of title to registered land.

The case is a petition for review on certiorari of the decision of the Court of Appeals[2] affirming that of the Regional Trial Court, Bulacan, at Malolos.
