The house of L. Lacroix Fils, of Paris, France, is the manufacturer of a cigarette paper extensively sold throughout the world under the trade name and mark of Riz Lacroix; and prior to the year 1911, Leon J. Lambert, under the style of Lambert Sales Company, had been buying this paper through the finn of Market & Co., of Paris, and selling it to users of tobacco in the Philippine Islands. In February of the year 1912, however, a contract became effective between L.
