This petition for review assails the May 31, 2006 Decision[1] of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CV No. 78200 affirming the August 30, 2000 Decision[2] of the Regional Trial Court of Makati, which granted respondent Joseph Anthony M. Alejandro's claim for damages arising from petitioner Philippine Commercial International Bank's (PCIB) invalid garnishment of respondent's deposits.
