FOCUS of this case is the validity of a quitclaim based on a broad special power of attorney affecting the rights of twenty-two (22) employees.

This is a petition for review on certiorari assailing the Decision[1] of the Court of Appeals (CA) which annulled the Resolution[2] of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) voiding the quitclaim and release executed by petitioners' attorney-in-fact in favor of their employer, private respondent Powertech Corporation (Powertech).
