On appeal is the July 6, 2006 Decision[1] of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR HC No. 01278 which affirmed with modification the January 3, 2000 Joint Decision[2] of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 116, Pasay City, in the consolidated Criminal Case Nos. 97-9760 to 97-9762, finding Leonel Pasaol Palac alias Joy-Joy Talac (appellant) guilty beyond reasonable doubt of three counts of rape.
