Assailed via petition for review on certiorari is the Court of Appeals[1] Decision of November 13, 2006 holding Virjen Shipping Corporation, Capt. Renato Morente and Odyssey Maritime PTE. Ltd. (petitioners) liable to Jesus B. Barraquio (respondent) for payment of sickness allowance equivalent to 120 days, disability benefits, accrued interest, moral damages, exemplary damages and attorney's fees.
