For resolution is respondents' Motion for Reconsideration[1] of this Court's April 21, 2014 Decision,[2] which granted the petition of National Power Corporation (Napocor), and set aside the Court of Appeals' Resolution[3] dated November 27, 2007. The Decision further remanded "the case to the Regional Trial Court so that the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation [PSALM Corporation] and the National Transmission Corporation [TRANSCO] may be impleaded as proper parties."[4]
 
Recalling the facts of this case:
