These consolidated petitions challenge the Decision[1] dated July 12, 2011 and Resolution[2] dated November 21, 2011 of the Court of Appeals (CA) in CA-G.R. SP No. 116203. The CA found that Wrigley Philippines, Inc. (WPI) validly dismissed Gertrudes D. Mejila (Mejila) on the ground of redundancy but failed to observe procedural due process, which warranted the award of nominal damages and attorney's fees in favor of Mejila. In G.R.
