1. ACTION TO ENFORCE RIGHT TO AN INHERITANCE: BURDEN OF PROOF. — An action to enforce the right to an inheritance can not properly be maintained by the descendants of a person in the capacity of legitimate successors and heirs, when at the trial the claimants of such inheritance do not prove the marriage of their ancestor nor that of the alleged children of the later, nor the paternity and filiation of the claimants.
