These are appeals brought, on the one hand, by the Metro Manila Transit Corporation (MMTC) and Pedro Musa and, on the other, by the spouses Rodolfo V. Rosales and Lily R. Rosales from the decision,1 dated August 5, 1994, of the Court of Appeals, which affirmed with modification the judgment of the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City holding MMTC and Musa liable to the spouses Rosales for actual, moral, and exemplary damages, attorney's fees, and the costs of suit for the death of the latter's daughter.
