On March 24, 1930 the plaintiff herein, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the Philippine Islands, filed a verified complaint in the Court of First Instance of Rizal for the condemnation of a strip of land running through the Tuason Estate in the municipalities of Caloocan, San Juan del Monte, and Mariquina, in Rizal Province. The land to be condemned was necessary as a right of way for the transmission line of the plaintiff from its hydroelectric plant in Botocan, Laguna Province, to Manila.
