DIAZ, J:

As a result of a rifle discharge loaded with buckshots, which caught him on both legs below the knee, causing nine wounds in the left leg and one in the right, Leonico Nanos died in the sitio of Boroon, municipality of Iligan, Province of Lanao, during the early hours in the morning of February 1, 1933. The shot was fired by Francisco de la Cruz who, after being charged with and tried for the crime of homicide, was found guilty and sentenced by the Court of First Instance of Lanao to suffer an indeterminate sentence of six years and one day of prision mayor, to twelve years and one day of reclusion temporal, to...
